10 October 2019: Granada Tourist/Rest Day (6 miles-284 total)
Despite web info saying Alhambra entrance tickets were not available, we agreed to depart at 8 am to arrive by their 8:30 am opening. They told us, No way, in polite Spanish, and a place that advertised same-day tickets said their tickets were unavailable until November. Courteous, mild-mannered, polite Robin checked. Unlike the Vatican, no one seemed to be selling marked-up entry, cut-the-line tickets. One group after another arrived with pre-booked tickets, relatively easy to arrange when you know your itinerary. No so when bike touring.
We walked about the Alhambra exterior grounds, then rode to several other tourists sights and returned to our apartment. Robin, John, and Michael went out for lunch (A dive bar per John). Not being very hungry, I walked to the corner market and purchased the ingredients for a delicious salad. I like the meat-heavy tapas, but salad was more appealing today.
Gelato and more gelato:

Lunch
We have used maps.me to navigate within Granada. Riding like the locals means riding on sidewalks and occasionally the wrong way on one-way streets, but no one seems to mind. Fortunately, most of the noisy 2-cycle gas-powered scooters have been replaced by the quiet, cheaper, electric scooters.
My Dinner Last Night. Supposedly Arabic-Spanish/Granada fusion.
Robin's Tortilla and Salad. Tortillas comprise potatoes, egg, and/or cheese, vegetables, and meats.
Chestnuts roasting on a open fire, . . .
Is that The Orange one in the center?
Anywhere can be a store.
Gelato and more gelato:
All at the same store.
Hard to believe. Given at least three pairs in the window.
Alhambra
No, they would not let us in.
Creature of the Day?
They seemed to be working on and then testing the bells.
Pealing Bells. Try it.
Second Breakfast. Tostadas, avocado on John's and a local specialty on Michael's and mine—thick tomato sauce with a bit of shredded sausage.
We toured the Royal Chapel. A fancy religious-themed tomb.
You can get any spice you want. Spice vendors were concentrated about the Royal Chapel and Granada Cathedral.
Who Knew? Tourist information had a display featuring Andalusian products. I have never heard of a custard apple.
Granada Cathedral. Big, brighter than most, packed with religious art and symbols.
